Biography:
Tim started writing seriously in his early twenties; having his
first poems published in 'Poetry Monthly' and a few anthologies,
before turning to play, and screen-writing. His first play 'The
Dead Moon' (about smugglers in the Fen's post Napoleonic era)
was commissioned in 2007 and staged at the Albourough Festival
in the summer of 2008, the first non-operatic play ever to be
performed there. Since then Tim has completed a second called
'Cadiere' about the Girl Saint of Toulon, the last witch trial in
France and the world's first trial by media.
Tim wrote 'The Real Brian Blessed' which he performed with his
comedy partner in crime Matt Earley. The show was reviewed by
Time Out as 'One of the best online comedy sketches of 2008.'
Tim's rather self explanatory 'Theatre in a Car' opened the 2009
London Bridge Festival to rave reviews. He swiftly moved on to
'The Curse of Elizabeth Faulkner' a melodramatic farce, a piece
of total theatre, directed once again by the tremendous Anthony
Coleridge (Theatre in a Car.) At this stage, The Curse was a 15
minute short, a frankly brilliant teaser of what's to come! The
play was workshopped at The Kings Head and then transferred
to the Old Red Lion for The Offcut Festival. We now have a 45
minute Radio edit (and interest from Radio 4) and Tim is working
on the full length Extraveganza which we plan to tour the World
and sell to Spielberg!
This chap is one to watch! Closely..
