Andy Day is a presenter and actor. He is best known for presenting ‘CBeebies’ at the BBC where he has worked for 3 years hosting ‘Get Set Go’ and ‘Big Fun Time’ with co presenter Sidney Sloane.

Andy also filmed the ‘Nuzzle and Scratch’ cinema trails, aired throughout the UK and took part in a UK arena tour for ‘CBeebies Live’ in association with BBC Worldwide. In 2009 he was nominated for a children's BAFTA award for 'Best Presenter.' Andy's in demand for voice-overs and also writes comedy links for the channel.

Andy especially enjoys the Christmas period as it means PANTOMIME TIME.
He has played ‘The Genie’ in Aladdin at the Kenneth Moor Theatre, and starred alongside long-term friend and comedy partner Michael James as an ugly sister in Cinderella at ‘The Octagon’ in Yeovil and Bedworth for 'Pantoni Pantomimes.'

When, not presenting for CBeebies, he stars in a comedy family show Andy and Mikes Big Box of Bananas’(www.andyandmike.com) which he co-wrote and co-devised where again he plays alongside Michael James.

Prior to CBeebies, he hosted the quiz show ‘Cash House’ for ‘Friendly TV’ and also worked on ‘The Jump Up’ tour for Nick Jnr.
