Liza Tarbuck is firmly established as one of the country's best known faces. She first exploded onto the small screen as Pamela in 'Watching', an ITV series that regularly laid claim to over 13 million viewers. Liza’s popularity has gone from strength to strength and to date her TV appearances have been a mixture of presenting and acting, in both comedies and dramas including the title role of ‘Linda Green’ in two series of the hugely successful BBC One TV drama.

Liza was delighted to be asked to read the No. 1 best selling autobiography ‘Dear Fatty’ by Dawn French as an audio book. This was a challenge she relished and her skill and enthusiasm for the job culminated in ‘Dear Fatty’ winning the award for Best Audiobook of the Year 2009.

In 2007 Liza played the lead role of ‘Helen’ to critical acclaim in ITV’s comedy drama series Bonkers. In 2009 Liza played a lead role in 'The Walkers' which was one of twelve silent shorts, made for Sky. She has also made guest appearances on BBC One’s Inspector Lynley; Steve Coogan’s 'Saxondale series for BBC Two and played ‘Rita’ in Series 2 of 'Extras' with Ricky Gervais. She also hosted Channel 4’s series 'Britain’s Top Dog' and co-presented 'The British Comedy Awards' for ITV.

Liza has recently spent a lot of her time presenting on Radio 2. She has guest presented the Saturday morning slot on with Martin Freeman; ‘Steve Wright in the Afternoon’ with Mark Radcliffe and ‘The Sarah Kennedy Show’. In 2009 Liza stood in for Jonathan Ross on his Saturday morning show alongside Huey Morgan of the Fun Lovin' Criminals. Liza was also very excited to have the opportunity of interviewing Andy Williams for Radio 2.

In 2009 Liza recorded the sitcom ‘Clare in the Community’ for Radio 4 playing the role of ‘Helen’. She is a regular guest on ‘Just a Minute’ on Radio 4 , has appeared on ‘QI’ and ‘Have I Got News For You’ as well as guest hosting the show and guest hosting ‘The Paul O’Grady Show’.

Liza has also appeared as one of the only ‘real’ women, ‘Donna’ in 'The League of Gentlemen' and ‘Mrs Barrymore' in 'The Hound of the Baskervilles'. She guested on 'French & Saunders' (BBC One) and played a cameo role in BBC One’s 'Bleak House'. For Channel 4 she presented two series of the International Emmy award winning format 'Without Prejudice' as well as 'She's Gotta Have It' and the 'Big Breakfast' with Johnny Vaughan. She presented 'Blockbusters' for Sky TV and 'I Suppose You Think That's Funny' for ITV2; 'Time Team', 'Music for the Millennium', and 'Burnt Bits' for Channel 4; 'Passport To The Sun' and 'The Weekend Show' for the BBC; 'Round The Houses' and 'Homemaker' for Anglia TV; 'Soap Fever' for Granada TV and 'Win Lose or Draw' for ITV and the late night version 'Win Lose or Draw – Late'. She was the main voiceover for BBC One’s 'Airport' and BBC Two’s 'Who Rules The Roost'.

She made her West End debut in 2003 working with the legendary director Franco Zeffirelli in the play 'Absolutely! (Perhaps)' starring alongside Joan Plowright and Oliver Ford Davies. She has previously appeared on stage in national tours including 'Absurd Personal Singular' as well as for the National Youth Theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe following her training at R.A.D.A.
