Biography:
Angus, who lives between London and Edinburgh, is an accomplished presenter who has plunged his new, expensive telly teeth into various genres of hosting. Versatile to the end, he can now be seen every Friday at 8pm on STV’s Postcode Challenge fulfilling a role he feels he has long been denied- that of quiz master. Recently, Angus has been lending his positive-thinking life skills (a surprise to most given his troubled childhood) to Make Me Happier, co-presenting alongside Lorraine Kelly.
For Channel 4, he turned his good eye to interior design for 95 shows of Room For Improvement (series 1-3) and has an unhealthy and facially aging habit of buying and selling homes which require stress-inducing planning consent. On the BBC's hugely successful Cash In The Attic (series 6-12), Angus developed a penchant for collectibles to rival any Steiff bear obsessive. Other credits include Living TV (Angus was fired after two series of Ghost Towns for laughing during live ghost hunts), BBC 3, Channel 4 Radio, LBC 97.3 and The Hour, STV (stand-in host). He's the charity ambassador and poster boy for The People's Postcode Lottery and is an in-demand corporate presenter, fronting films for many top, blue chip companies. Born and bred in Scotland, he cut his old teeth in television behind the camera at GMTV and Five before courting the lens.
