Biography:
Liam Hourican is an Actor, Comedian and Writer based in Dublin. He studied at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London for three years before working as a Shakespearean actor at The Globe. Liam has since written a Channel 4 Funny Cut (Ape) produced by Green Inc, which was based on comedy sketches. This led to a Channel 4 Comedy Lab entitled iCandy - using some of the same comedy characters -which screened in April 2010 on Channel 4.
Liam also wrote and performed for SKETCHY, BBC Northern Ireland, before playing the lead, Dirk De Smet, in THE LAST SECURITY MAN for RTE's Storyland competition. A hit. So to speak..
Next up is VERY IMPORTANT PEOPLE again for Channel 4, produced by Running Bare. Liam plays Mickey Rourke, Gordan Ramsay, Vince Vaugh and Simon Bird amongst others. The show starts Friday 27th April 10pm and continues for 6 weeks..
