Since April 2009 John-Luke has been co-writing and recording 'Boo Hoo it's
the News' with Gareth Gwynn. BHITN is a semi-regular topical comedy podcast,
for people who don't like topical comedy and is available to download on iTunes now.
John-Luke has been trained on the prestigious Royal Court Young Writer's Programme in March 2008.
He also writes and performs stand-up on the circuit, supporting Josie Long throughout her 2009 UK tour, and has written corporate material for Janet Street Porter and Sue Perkins.
August 2010 saw John-Luke performing his first solo show John-Luke-Roberts Distracts You From A Murder at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, which was hugely well received.
'structurally impressive, constantly inventive and playfully mischievous... A unique, highly accomplished debut hour from a talent to watch.' **** Time Out
'elegant, inventive writing' www.chortle.co.uk
'a certain touch of theatricality and conceptual thinking... fantastically ornate but deeply silly brand of comedy, dripping with absurd puns and utterly unexpected left turns.' The Guardian
