David Harper lives and was born in the north of England but spent a number of years growing up and going to school in Africa. He has also lived and worked in the USA.

David is passionate, experienced and expert in the following areas, Antiques, Eco-friendly furniture, Property, Cars especially Classics, Business and Consumer issues.

After a number of years of radio presenting, David got his first TV presenting job in 2005.

Before TV and from the age of 18, David spent 20 years self employed in Business. In his time, he’s owned and run many businesses from Furniture Manufacturing to Cosmetics to Printing Companies to being the sales director of the first a joint Thai / UK venture P.L.C company.

David found his way into TV through his lifelong passions for antiques and classic cars.

Since 2005, David has presented shows for the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 including Countryfile, Inside Out, Bargain Hunt, The Heaven & Earth Show, The One Show, Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is and Natural Born Dealers. He’s also appeared on Celebrity Ready Steady Cook and has been featured on Through The Keyhole.

David writes articles for national magazines and The Times Newspaper.

David lives in the rural Durham / Yorkshire borders with his wife, daughter, dog and the odd stray pony, duck or cow!
