Jane is a busy mother of 5 children (plus 2 step-children) and is used to juggling a demanding career with a full family life. She loves to cook delicious simple meals for her large family. One of her favourite things to do is to eat with family and friends at the weekend all around a large table with good food and wine.
She also loves to travel and does so at every opportunity. Holidays are usually with her large family and include skiing, walking and long summer days in, on and beside water. She regularly enjoys a variety of outdoor activities - particularly walking/hiking and biking with her husband Tim and as many of the family as want to join in at weekends.
Jane is a busy barrister. She has over the years worked in the matrimonial and civil divisions of the Bar. As Queen's Counsel she specialises in defending very serious crime of all kinds, including murder, fraud, money laundering, sex cases and regulatory crime. She also works as a Recorder (part-time Crown Court Judge) - judging a wide range of criminal cases in the presence of a jury.

More recently Jane defended the first accused (a fictional famous footballer) in a televised trial with a celebrity jury.
