Biography:
Tim is an intelligent Actor and a unique and very funny writer. His first play 'The Dead Moon' was commissioned in 2007 and staged at the Albourough Festival in the summer of 2008 (the first non-operatic play ever to be performed there.) Tim has completed a second Play called 'Cadiere' about the Girl Saint of Toulon, the last witch trial in France and the world's first trial by media.
Tim wrote 'The Real Brian Blessed' which he performed with his comedy partner Matt Earley. The show was reviewed by Time Out as 'One of the best online comedy sketches of 2009.'
Tim's rather self explanatory 'Theatre in a Car' opened the 2009 London Bridge Festival to rave reviews. He swiftly moved on to 'The Curse of Elizabeth Faulkner' a melodramatic farce, a piece of total theatre, directed once again by the tremendous Anthony Coleridge (Theatre in a Car) At this stage, The Curse was a 15 minute short, a frankly brilliant teaser of what's to come! The play was work shopped at The Kings Head and then transferred to the Old Red Lion for The Offcut Festival. We now have a 45 minute Radio edit and Tim is working on the full length Extravaganza..
On the acting front, Tim had 3 feature films released last year; 'The Kings Speech,' 'Treacle Jnr' and 'Diagnosis Superstar.' Tim also worked with Director Matt Lipsey on THIS IS JINSY a new comedy for SKY.. DARK MATTERS, an intriguing comic look through history, ITVs epic remake TITANIC, and THE CRICKLEWOOD GREATS with Peter Capaldi, Simon Callow and Terry Gilliam for BBC 4. Then came THE ROYAL BODYGUARD in which Tim played ‘Yates’ the man passed over for promotion to allow Hubble (David Jason) to embark on a series of mishaps in an effort to protect The Queen. Tim stars in all 6 episodes, first screened on Boxing Day 2012 on BBC 1.
Tim is currently working with Tom Hooper again, this time on ‘Les Mis’ for the big screen.
THIS IS JINSY - BEST SKETCH SHOW nomination British Comedy Awards 2011
(second series commissioned for late 2012)
THE CRICKLEWOOD GREATS - Nominated for BAFTA 2012
