Biography:
Sophie studied the Mesiner technique at the Neighbourhood Playhouse in New York and completed her training at LAMDA.
Television credits include Miranda BBC2 and Reggie Perrin BBC1. She wrote and performed her own one women show Call Me If You Feel Too Happy at the Edinburgh Festival and transferred to London were it ran at the Old Red Lion. She toured the show to various venues round the country and aboard culminating in a performance at the Galle Literary Festival Sri Lanka. The show received rave reviews: 'Sophie Pelham gives a beguiling solo performance' Glasgow Herald.
She previously performed as part of the sketch group Sandals in the Bin at two Edinburgh Festivals and on the comedy circuit. Sophie is currently co-producing a short film Asylum Seekers with Katie Maverleon and Hollie Ebdon in which she also takes the lead role. The film was recently screened at BAFTA and is now being entered into film festivals across the world. She is also writing a new sitcom entitled The Last Resort.
