Biography:
Graeme Rooney is a young Scottish actor who trained at RSAMD. He now lives in London although he still retains a Scottish base.
He has played memorable comedic characters in both Irvine Welsh's critically acclaimed 'Wedding Belles' and the Award winning 'Skins'. He featured as a guest lead in the popular BBC series 'Ashes to Ashes' and more recently he had a great cameo in Case Histories alongside Jason Isaacs. In 2011 Graeme appeared in Holby City when he played the challenging role of William P Franks, a young man with severe learning difficulties who becomes obsessed with a female patient.
Other previous guest leads include 'Rebus', 'Taggart' and 'Casualty'. Graeme has also performed at The Globe, The Royal Court, The Barbican and Dundee rep.
