TONY LAW
|
| Representing Agent: Becky Williams |

Biography:
Imagine if Harry Potter was a Canadian non-wizard who writes very funny jokes with his big hands, thats Tony Law (Sean Lock).
Since winning the Glastonbury New Act competition Canadian comedian Tony Law has become one of the most revered stand-ups on the circuit, winning the acclaim of both the critics and his peers. As testament to this Tony was honoured with the prestigious Comics' Choice "Piece-of-Wood" Award at the 2005 Melbourne Comedy Festival.
The cheerfully absurd humour that Law knocks around into a jazzy, freeform shape has endeared him to both live and TV audiences in the UK and abroad. Hes a regular face at the UKs biggest comedy clubs, and a favourite at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
On television, Tony was the series team captain on Channel 4's panel-show Does Doug Know and his acting credits include Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle and CBBC's Scoop.
In Spring 2009 Tony went on his first-ever national solo tour, with a second leg added in the Autumn. In addition to this Tony supported Stewart Lee on his 2010 tour and that August returned to Edinburgh after a 2 year absence with critically acclaimed new show Mr Tony's Brainporium.
He has since worked on an Objective Productions comedy improvisation pilot for Dave and starred on Russell Howard's Good News, So This Is Christmas and Never Mind The Buzzcocks. You might also have recognised him as King Arthur in Sky's big commercial campaign in 2011.
Tony returned triumphant from 2011's Edinburgh Fringe where he won the Amused Moose Laughter Award and accumulated a plethora of 4* and 5* reviews with Go Mr Tony Go!. He has since toured the country with the show and has been nominated for 'Best Show' at Dave's Leicester Comedy Festival and was crowned 'Best Breakthrough' at the 2012 Chortle Awards.
