Paul was born and raised in Winchester but has now gravitated to the Suffolk coast where he is currently renovating a wreck. When away from the theatre, his passions in life (apart from his wife) are: carving in wood, restoring antiques, fine wines and Southampton Football Club. Thirty years in the business have bought many interesting opportunities from RSC to wacky American commercials. One of his ambitions would be to play a baddy in a sci-fi - as long as the time continuum of the parabolic multi-universes holds up under the increasing pressures of roving black holes (breath).
