Biography:
Born and raised in Bournemouth, England, Nikita Ramsey is an up and coming actress to watch. She has an identical sister Jade, who is also an actress.
Nikita 's film credits include 'The Myth of the American Sleepover', an honest and affirmative coming of age comedy, which screened at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival, won the Special Jury Award for Best Ensemble Cast at the SXSW Film Festival in 2010 and the 'Indie American Newcomer Award' at the Munich 2010 Film Festival. The film tied with 'Winters Bone' for the "Jury Prize" at the Deauville Festival and will be released theatrically in USA on July 22nd 2011. Jade was also one half of a murderous set of twins in 'All About Evil' starring Natasha Lyonne and Thomas Dekker.
Her breakout TV role was a movie critic for popular Reelz Channel show, 'Movie Mob'. Jade and her sister were known as the "Brit Twins" doing weekly live blogs reviewing trailers, the latest movie releases, and performing skits related to the show. She has done lots of voiceover working including voicing an animated DVD series teaching children to read, for EECI Entertainment, the lead voice of Yazmin in the BRATZ world globe toys. You can also hear her voice in a number of video games including Dance Central MTV games for XBOX 360 and 'Agatha Christie: Evil Under the Sun'.
She was featured in the NYLON MAGAZINE Young Hollywood Issue "67 Faces to watch" alongside Freddie Highmore and Douglas Booth
