Amy Hoggart started writing and performing comedy with the Cambridge Footlights, participating in Smokers as well as their 2008 summer tour show. Since then she has taken part in a number of pilots, including BBC3's Laughter Shock where she met Sarah Campbell. The pair formed sketch act 'Christmas For Two', and have since filmed two sketches for BBC Online (Weird Day at Work and Homemade Festival). They took their first full length show 'Christmas For Two: Friends With You' up to Edinburgh last year and received great reviews.

In addition to her work with Sarah, Amy also writes and performs various characters as a solo act. Her most popular creation is Pattie Brewster (www.pattiebrewster.co.uk) a cat-collecting land-lady and author of several self-help books (not for publication, just for her). She is currently writing an Edinburgh show as Pattie to take to the 2012 fringe which is she previewing each month in Camden, alongside a feast of lovely comics (http://pattiebrewster.co.uk/see-me-live/). Amy is also writing several sitcom scripts and developing a pilot with Ed Aczel.
