Liza Tarbuck is firmly established as one of the country's best known faces. She first exploded onto the small screen as Pamela in Watching, an ITV series that regularly laid claim to over 13 million viewers. Liza's popularity has gone from strength to strength and to date her TV appearances have been a mixture of presenting and acting, in both comedies and dramas. Her latest passion is radio and she regularly presents on BBC Radio 2 on many shows including Drivetime. She also hosted a nine-part series for Sky 1 with Huey Morgan, on British pets. As an actress she appeared great part in the tear-jerker film The Be All and End All, which has received accolades at various film festivals around the world (Chicago, Rome, Seville and Monte Carlo).. Lizas recent reading of Dawn French's autobiography won Audio Book of the Year.

Her TV credits include the title role of Linda Green in two series of the hugely successful BBC1 TV drama. She played Helen in ITV's comedy drama series Bonkers to critical and public acclaim. She has made guest appearances on BBC One's Inspector Lynley; Steve Coogan's Saxondale series for BBC Two and played Rita in Series 2 of Extras with Ricky Gervais. Liza has also appeared as one of the only 'real' women, Donna, in The League of Gentlemen and Mrs Barrymore in The Hound of the Baskervilles. She guested on French & Saunders (BBC One) and played a cameo role in BBC One's Bleak House.
Liza has just finished filming Mount Pleasent a new comedy project for Tiger Aspect and Sky.

For Channel 4 she presented two series of the International Emmy award winning show Without Prejudice as well as She's Gotta Have It and The Big Breakfast with Johnny Vaughan. She also hosted Channel 4's series Britain's Top Dog and co-presented The British Comedy Awards for ITV. She presented over 100 episodes of the classic quiz show Blockbusters for Sky 1 and I Suppose You Think That's Funny for ITV2; Time Team, Music for the Millennium, and Burnt Bits for Channel 4; Passport To The Sun and The Weekend Show for BBC; Round The Houses and Homemaker for Anglia TV; I Blame The Spice Girls for Channel Five; Soap Fever for Granada TV and Win, Lose or Draw for ITV and the late night version Win Lose or Draw - Late and she has guest hosted The Paul O'Grady Show twice for Channel 4. She was the main voiceover for BBC1's Airport, BBC2's Who Rules The Roost and Channel 4's Supersize vs Super Skinny.


Liza has recorded sitcoms Clare in the Community and Hamilton's Odessey for Radio 4 and she is a regular guest on Just a Minute. She has appeared on QI and Have I Got News For You as well as guest hosting the latter.

She made her West End debut in 2003 working with the legendary director Franco Zeffirelli in the play Absolutely! (Perhaps) starring alongside Joan Plowright and Oliver Ford Davies. She has previously appeared on stage in national tours including Absurd Personal Singular as well as for the National Youth Theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe following her training at R.A.D.A.
