Biography:
Dan & Jeff are an Olivier nominated writing and performing
duo, who are perhaps best known for their stint, presenting
daily on CBBC, in the famous broom cupboard from 2008 -
2010, following on from some of their childhood heroes such
as Philip Schofield, Andi Peters and, of course, Edd the Duck.
Their other television appearances include Big Brother's
Little Brother, Richard & Judy, Newsnight and a year long
project on Blue Peter bringing newly published children's
books to the nation's young readers' attention.
Both are very passionate about children's literacy, but are
also of the opinion that books can be fun, hence their first
stage show together 'Potted Potter: The unofficial Harry
Experience' which has enjoyed critically acclaimed sell-out
runs at 4 Edinburgh festivals and for 3 West-End seasons.
They then moved on to a sell-out Edinburgh festival run of
their next show 'Potted Pirates', which then toured
nationally for over 2 years. The pair's most recent stage show
'Potted Panto' has enjoyed Edinburgh Festival success,
followed by a national tour and a 6 week run over Christmas
2010 at the West End's Vaudeville Theatre, which resulted in
an Olivier nomination for 'Best Entertainment'.
Dan & Jeff have been working together since the spring of
2005, and are both trained actors who have worked on a
variety of TV and theatre productions in both comedic and
straight roles.
For Christmas 2011, Dan and Jeff returned for a second
festive season of 'Potted Panto' with a 3 week run at The
Vaudeville Theatre.
In February 2012 they started their fantastic 'Potted Potter'
International tour, kicking off in Toronto at The Panasonic
Theatre.
