TOPLOADER ARE IN THE STUDIO - With over two million album sales to their name, and the last British band to play the old Wembley, Toploader are currently putting the finishing touches to their third studio album at Hook End Studios. Produced by Danton Supple, who has also worked with Coldplay, Morrissey, Doves and Ed Harcourt, the album is named Only Human and is their first since 2002's Magic Hotel. Now being mixed, songs likely to make the final cut include A Balance To All Things, Sound Of Your Soul and Closure.

Having taken an extended hiatus following the end of their promotion for Magic Hotel, the band started writing together again in late 2009, and within six months had enough material - around 25 songs - for a new album. The only tracks that predate this period are Only Human and Paradise, written soon after their second album was released. Having amicably parted ways with guitarist Julian Deane during the writing sessions, Toploader are now a four piece comprising ever-presents Joseph Washbourn, Dan Hipgrave, Matt Knight and Rob Green.

Toploader have teamed up with the dynamic new label Underdogs Music and, eager to begin playing live again, are already making plans for 2011; they are lined up to play at the Queen of Hoxton on 12th February for their famous 'This Feeling' night, run in conjunction with The Sun's Bizarre column.

The first single from the new album will be released in March and accompanied by a short tour, before Only Human follows in May.
