Mitchell, mitchell, mitchell....

Peter was born in County Derry, Northern Ireland in the 1980's. A keen sportsman and naturally competitive Peter got involved with as many sports as possible but had a real flair with football. He soon turned professional and went on to play alongside Robbie Keane, Rio Ferdinand and Harry Kewell at Leeds United. When Leeds were in the glory days!

Following a car accident in 2002, Peter switched his sporting activities to wheelchair basketball and now competes both nationally and internationally with similar success.
In early 2009 Peter tried something new. Again. He auditioned for a Channel 4 Television drama and inevitably beat off the competition to land the role of Dan in Eleven Film's new show ''Cast Off's'' - a hard hitting 6 part drama written by the wonderful Jack Thorne. The show went out in Nov/Dec2009 to critical acclaim and is now available as a rather nice box-set. Peter has since featured in various magazines, starred in an episode of BBC's Doctors, 'Rick & Peter' a comedy lab pilot for channel 4 alongside Rick Edwards, a year on Hollyoaks, and another comic role on White Van Man, series 2 opposite Will Mellor..

Peter is currently back on Channel 4 with 'I'm Spazticus' a 6 part comedy to accompany the Paralympics.
