Biography:
Helen trained at The Birmingham School of Acting and went on to win The Ian Flemming Award to train in Musical Theatre at The Royal Academy of Music.
Helen is currently on our screens in the hit BBC Series "Call The Midwife" . Helen plays Trixie Franklin a 1950s midwife in Eastend, London. The series has been an instant ratings winner and Helen is set to revive the role of 'Trixie' in eight more episodes later this year.
Helen was a featured artist in Andrew Lloyd Webber's original cast of The Woman in White. Other credits include Into the Woods (The Birmingham Rep Studio), Women Beware Women (The Birmingham Hippodrome), Sharpay in High School Musical (original UK Tour), Jenny Gilman in Night Fright (UK Tour) and Sorrow in Gutted (Assembly Rooms/The Riverside Studios).
On the big screen Helen played 'Valerie' alongside Danny Dyer in 7 Lives and The Three Musketeers remake with Orlando Bloom directed by Paul W S Anderson.
Her TV roles include Miss Jones in Hollyoaks, Suzie in Hotel Babylon, and Andrea Turner in Doctors.
